This Plaque is dedicated to the many women and men who graduated from The Wellesley Hospital School of Nursing and served their community and patients so passionately from 1912 to 1998 at which time the Hospital was closed. The Wellesley Hospital School of Nursing was transferred in 1973 to Ryerson University where to this day nurses of exceptional talent and caring continue to graduate. As a token of our appreciation, the Wellesley Institute commemorates The Wellesley Hospital School of Nursing and its Alumnae Association on this day November 30, 2010.
