On the right side of the centre door at the Automotive Building (now the Allstream Centre) just west of the Princes' Gates at Exhibition Place is this plaque. Here's what it says (transcription by contributor Bruce McClure):

The Automotive Building was the site of Toronto's naval reserve division during the Second World War
