Prominent architect Abraham B. Pipher designed, built, and lived in this house with his wife and daughter, when the area with its grand residences was known locally as "Nabob's Retreat." This home features a mix of architectural elements, including a corner tower with a widow's walk on the roof. Tailor James C. Willard bought the house in 1902 and lived here with his family for 33 years.
